@N00BiSH Read the Apple update.
@SpiderSquid there's not a single mention of stability in that update

Hoping I don't have to wait years for the update that adds the DS Pokémon game soundtracks
That's good as I've had the app fail to load up properly a few times.
I'm loving it, but the updates aren't coming as fast as I would like. I was hoping for 2 new OSTs minimum to be added a week.

BTW, I love the app. Love, love, love!
and the drip feed continues. decade old games is one thing but when a music app has to span practically EVERY generation of nintendo hardware its gonna hit harder i feel
i enjoy the curated playlists for walking and sleeping tho. helpful when i dont wanna worry about songs or lyrics getting to the "good part" when the playlist is essentially bg noise

Loving this app so far. Have gone through all the game soundtracks and made a favorites list to play during my workouts at the gym. Love being able to lock my phone screen and still play music unlike using YouTube.
Wait that's it? I was expecting an update around now (it was looking like a new ost ~ every 4 days, but I feel like it's taking too long per song. It isn't like a game where it can take a few hours or days to finish, you can get through each in about an hour or two, so the songs should be coming out much faster then what was Happening on NSO

A much appreciated one for me, the app runs great but does fail to start half the time. It has quickly become a nice motivator to let the kids pick some songs off the app to play while getting ready for school.

Happy to see this. The app usually wouldn't start for me the first time I launched it, so hopefully this patch works.
I hope they add Endless Ocean soundtracks
Just started playing them and the soundtrack would be so good for studying and sleeping!

Well that's good. Most of the times I've had to close the app and then open it again for it to load properly. Weird issue.
I hope Nintendo also adds hollow knight and perhaps sonic songs down the line.
The app works great and I hope they’ll continue adding more songs at a faster pace.
The android version desperately needs an in built cast function like every other music streaming app.
@Elbitryq I think that's unlikely for the Wii games soundtracks as they were licensed. The songs are by Celtic Woman.
@BJQ1972 Ah that's a shame, still, I'll gladly take Luminous' soundtrack d:

...I swear, if this app gets constant updates with nothing but "stability" just like the Switch...I'm gonna-
I can't believe they launched it with Yoshi's Island but not Super Mario World. What was the thinking behind that? I love Yoshi's Island soundtrack, don't get me wrong. Particularly the 'Goal' tune. But for me, Mario World is peak Mario music and the Castle track is one of the greatest video game tune ever created.
@SpiderSquid The iOS app does have some stability issues though. Let's check if they're fixed.

My girlfriend will be happy to hear this. She has Android and is having trouble starting the app. I have an iPhone, so I have no trouble.

@abbyhitter It was less than a decade ago when we could lock our phones and YouTube continued to play music without a hitch. Google greedfully locked that "feature" behind it's paywall to make YT Music more attractive. I've been using this hack ever since though:
1. Download Firefox
2. Install an ad blocker like uBlock Origin as a FF extension
3. Use YT through Firefox
4. After your video starts minimize FF or lock your screen. The video will of course stop playing.
5. Hit play outside of FF using any method you have available, whether that be on your headset, your car's stereo, using the convenient shortcut from the phone, etc.
As long as you don't have a bunch of other open apps chewing up available memory and processing power, it'll play where you left off. I discovered this by accident shortly after Google started this garbage practice to push you to YT Music/Red, and have been doing it across three different phones in that time. I've never tried it on an iPhone, but it worked great on BlackBerry (RIP) and Android.
And still no Tears of the Kingdom. Come on Nintendo
The only issue I've had is when I try playing a song after not touching the app for a bit, it just crashes.
So hopefully that's been resolved in this update!
Edit: It hasn't lol
On a related note, I'm now a little concerned about the rate of releases.
Two games a week should be the minimum and as good as DKC2 is, it would've been nice to see something else this week aswell.
@burninmylight or just use something like youtube revanced or grayjay

Now that it needs stability, stability isn't mentioned LOL
It's been crashing from time to time
Oh nice this was actually a problem for me! 🤎

@SintasSays I’m hoping not years for the Gameboy Pokemon music. Love GS music so much
Excellent so it wasn't just me. It got real annoying trying to get it started at times so it's 'music' to the ears that it got addressed.

@abbyhitter https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/video-background-play-fix/ Here you go!
It seems crazy to me that this music service app does not use CarPlay or the Android equivalent. Even the Dominoes Pizza app uses CarPlay. I love using it…but this is a missed opportunity.
Ah yes. I always enjoy some of that sweet stability.
I hope they add Pokémon Black/White soundtrack soon, that one is divine.
It’s gonna be as stable as the ass end of a pyramid
They add mario wonder but not tears of the kingdom. Mario wonders music is good but I find totks to be way better and deserving to be a soundtrack on the app.
Credits added?
@Joeynator3000 - … be overly stable?
Hope this also fixes the random crashes. Seems like when I choose certain items in a menu, the app just closes.
@SBandy1 Nope.
@I-U I was wondering if, just if, we are going to get also the music from games made by third party companies.
Right now I was thinking SNES Doom music.
@Simone93 I wouldn't rule it out, but I don't think third party soundtracks are coming anytime soon, especially with how slowly it's being updated. Personally, I would prefer that all OSTs of Nintendo's legacy series and million sellers are on the app first before third party OSTs are seriously considered.
