Fantastical is now available on Windows

Christian Zibreg ∙ October 29, 2024

The calendar and to-do app Fantastical has expanded to Windows after conquering the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and Vision Pro.

Fantastical is among the longest-standing iPhone apps and arguably the best calendar and to-do software. Flexibits has been testing a Windows version of Fantastical since the summer, and it’s now available as part of the 4.0 upgrade.

There are countless quality calendar apps available on Windows. The team says it’s spent the past three years porting Fantastical to Windows primarily because its customers who want to use Fantastical at work have been asking for it.

Fantastical for Windows isn’t an Arm-native app, so it’ll run in emulation on Copilot+ PCs. However, Flexibits says  an Arm version is coming soon. The Windows version is available as part of a Flexibits Premium subscription that unlocks all advanced features in Fantastical and Cardhop across all your devices.

Fantastical introduces a Windows app

Fantastical for Windows supports all the same features that made its iPhone, iPad and Mac counterparts such a hit with Apple users.

The app turns natural language input into new tasks. Other people can see your calendar availability with the Openings feature. A similar feature, called Openings, lets others vote for event times that suit them best. Fantastical supports many popular calendar services, including Google, Microsoft, Todoist, and more.

Other features are supported, too, including calendar sets that sync across all your devices, Interesting Calendars, support for Zoom and Webex conference calls, embedded weather forecasts, and more.
