Superstar Rajinikanth lost his cool when asked about a former actor and DMK politician, Udhayanidhi Stalin. The actor arrived in Chennai, hours ahead of the audio launch of his upcoming film, Vettaiyan, on September 20. At the Chennai International Airport, he was asked about rumours regarding Udhayanidhi Stalin becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He was furious at the reporter and then said, "Don't ask me political questions. I've told you before."

Rajinikanth was shooting for his upcoming film, Coolie, in Visakhapatnam. He took a break from the shoot to attend the audio launch of Vettaiyan, which is slated to happen on September 20 at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

As soon as Thalaivar arrived at the airport, the reporters asked him about the guest list for Vettaiyan's audio launch. With a smile on his face, he said, "I don't know, sir'. Then, when he was asked about Udhayanidhi Stalin, he expressed his anger.

Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is a hard-hitting entertainer produced by Lyca Productions. The film's ensemble cast includes Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. The film will hit theatres on October 10 across the globe.

Recently, the makers released two songs, Manasilaayo and Hunter Vaarar. The rest of the album, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, will be out at the film's audio launch.
