The Annual State of Irish Banking report has exposed an overwhelming 73% of Irish consumers are fed up with high banking fees and international transaction costs. Many are ditching traditional banks in favour of app-based services.

Three quarters of Irish adults are frustrated with high banking fees for basic services such as account maintenance and ATM withdrawals, according to new research. While one in four believe there is a lack of transparency with banking and international fees.
