BRAMPTON, Ont. - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is condemning violence that erupted Sunday when Indian consular officials visited a Hindu temple in Brampton, Ont., as police announced three people have been charged in the clash.

The Indian High Commission in Canada on November 4 said that a consular camp in Brampton, near Toronoto, witnessed “violent disruptions” on Sunday. This comes after Hindu-Canadian devotees were attacked at a Hindu temple near Toronto

A group of devotees, including women and children, at the Hindu Sabha Mandir was targeted by alleged Khalistani supporters. Videos showed a group of men wielding sticks and attacking devotees outside the temple.
